Hammy's Spirits - Demolition, Renovation, and New Construction
Hammy’s Spirits purchased an old community hall and secured Calanah Builders’ design-build services to substantially renovate and repurpose the building to accommodate their new liquor store location, approximately 4 times the size of their previous location. Construction included hazardous material abatement, substantial demolition, a 1290 SqFt addition to the building, and new construction to accommodate Hammy’s Spirits and future lease space. The total project size was 10,000 SqFt with 5,500 SqFt for Hammy’s Spirits with the remaining space developed as a shell for future tenants with up to 4 commercial retail unit bays of various sizes. Hazardous Material Abatement
Problem to solve
Working with Hazardous materials requires additional safety measures and planning to keep the construction team safe, and the project on track. In addition to working around these measures, the structure required a number of upgrades to suit the new use.
At the end of the day, Hammy’s received a new modern exterior look that compliments nearby developments
