UFA Co-operative purchased an old oilfield services company building to be their new Farm Store location in Ponoka. Calanah Builders was contracted to complete required demolition, renovations to the existing building and new construction (of a 1,160 SqFt addition) to accommodate the new retail location. UFA came to us with a tight construction schedule to accommodate the UFA master schedule. When working with larger managing partners, construction stages need to be strategically planned to coordinate each stage. Managing the construction stages with the retail staging and following a tight schedule required strategic project management and ongoing flexibility.
